Thanks for offering at least one of the fandoms I asked for! I love the idea that obscure fandoms and pairings can get love too! All I ask is that it is "readable" in terms of grammar and plot - take me on a merry little ride and I won't really get fashed about anything specific that happens in the fic! Kill off characters that don't die in canon, layer me with hurt/comfort, angst, porn, battle-gore, or fluff and happy homelife with children and I'll be happy! The only things I plead with you to avoid are rape/non-con (I'm a survivor and I trigger,) mpreg (except where appropriate in Alien Nation, heh,) graphic torture (violence is fine but torture freaks me out) and magic where inappropriate (Mirrormask yes, Alien Nation no.)

The specifics per my requests:

The Thirteenth Warrior: certainly slash is a possibility (and the possible ramifications of cross-cultural homosexuality involving Ahmed are interesting!) as well as het, but I'd love it if it were mixed in with the sort of historical mysticism and oppressive tension that filled the movie. Battle scenes a plus!

28 Days Later: I'd love to see some extra-canon fill-in scenes. There's lots of places (Selena before she meets Jim, Hannah and Frank living alone, post-injury Jim, Hannah and Selena, the military dig-in) that could stand to be expanded. Selena/Jim and some pulse-pounding zombie-hunting a plus!

Alien Nation: I've always had a soft spot for Buck and Sal's relationship, even though it was just put in for one episode in order to Prove A Point About Prejudice And Following The Crowd. I would love to see some exploration of a relationship between them, either post-canon or during high school. Porn a definite plus in this case, but canon-accuracy is appreciated :D Sex with the proper alien is not to be ignored!

If Sal and Buck are too challenging, anything will do - the show had so many rich characters! The only thing I ask is that you don't break up any canon characters (as hot as Sikes/George would be, I love Susan/George too much to want to wreck their marriage!!) Fitting in extra-marital relationships is fine as long as its pre-permanence (for instance, Cathy/Ahpassno before Cathy and Sikes got together) or other neat ideas like Buck/Ahpassno. Just no Buck/Emily please!!

Mirrormask: if you can manage to portray the creepy awesome surreal fantasy vibe of the original, I don't care WHAT the plot as, as long as one exists!! Femslashy Helena/Dark!Helena would be awesome - Helena and either version of Valentine also lovely. Pairing absolutely not required, a good story in that style and setting would just be fantastic.

I'm a GIANT fan of good consistent worldbuilding, it's as important as characters being IC - keep the world IC as well!
